Key Responsibilities- Provide inpatient speech-language pathology services with potential for some outpatient coverage
- Evaluate and treat patients within a neurological population including stroke, TBI, and Parkinson's disease
- Assess and manage trauma and post-intubation patients requiring speech and language intervention
- Conduct cognitive evaluations to determine home safety readiness
- Perform swallow studies as part of the patient care plan
Required Qualifications- Active Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of Nebraska
- American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers certification
- Ability to meet established performance expectations throughout the duration of the contract
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working with neurological patient populations in an inpatient setting
- Familiarity with dysphagia management and swallow study protocols
