Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing facility setting
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as appropriate
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home programs

Required Qualifications

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of New Jersey
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred or eligibility required
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or similar clinical setting
• Strong clinical documentation and communication skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a SNF or long-term care environment
• Familiarity with dysphagia evaluation and treatment protocols
• Experience with MDS/Medicare documentation requirements
