Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts (7:30 AM – 6:00 PM) | Weekend coverage required | 37-hour weekly guarantee

Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language pathology services across acute inpatient and acute rehabilitation units, including ICU coverage
• Evaluate and treat patients with diagnoses such as stroke, pneumonia, and sepsis, seeing approximately 8–10 patients per day
• Perform Video Fluoroscopic Swallow Studies (VFSS) as part of patient assessment and treatment
• Share caseload equally between acute inpatient and acute rehab settings alongside a team of SLPs
• May be required to float to a sister facility approximately 30 minutes away
• Document patient care using EPIC EMR

Required Qualifications

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience
• Demonstrated competency in Video Fluoroscopic Swallow Studies (VFSS)
• Active and unrestricted state licensure as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an acute rehabilitation unit setting
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR
• First-time travelers will be considered
