Travel - Speech Language Pathologist

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM | One weekend per month required with option to flex a weekday
Key Responsibilities- Float between an Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) unit and an acute care hospital floor to manage a varied caseload
- Evaluate and treat approximately 5–6 rehabilitation patients seen 3–5 times per week based on frequency and clinical need
- Manage an acute care caseload with variable daily volume throughout the week
- Perform outpatient modified barium swallow studies (MBSS) approximately once per week
- Conduct Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) procedures as indicated
- Document all clinical activity using the Meditech electronic documentation system
Required Qualifications- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Demonstrated experience performing Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS)
- Experience working in an acute hospital setting
Preferred Experience / Skills- FEES certification with hands-on clinical experience
- Previous travel therapy experience and ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload across multiple units
