Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13-Week Assignment | Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing facility setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and clinical goals
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as clinically appropriate
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home programs
Required Qualifications- Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current and valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Massachusetts
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA or eligibility
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or similar post-acute care environment
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a SNF or long-term care setting
- Familiarity with MDS documentation and Medicare/Medicaid guidelines
