Job Summary:
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) is sought for an assignment in St. Joseph, Missouri. The provider will develop treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities, employing techniques that enhance understanding for residents. The role requires leadership in delivering speech language pathology and audiology services in accordance with regulatory standards to ensure quality resident care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Missouri State license, CCC certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist, a valid, unrestricted license in therapy discipline in the state, meeting educational licensure requirements, knowledge of skilled nursing home regulations, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care, and at least 1 year of experience in speech-language pathology, LTC or rehab experience preferred

- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: Candidates must be able to develop and implement communication and swallowing treatment plans, lead and guide speech language pathology services, and possess a valid drivers license for potential travel needs.
