Position Summary

Serve as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant supporting licensed SLPs in school-based settings across McAlester, Eufaula, or Atoka, OK. Deliver therapy activities under SLP supervision. Monitor student progress and assist with communication devices and classroom integration.

Primary Responsibilities

• Implement individualized therapy plans as directed by the supervising SLP.
• Provide direct speech, language, voice, and fluency interventions to students.
• Assist with assessment preparation and data collection on student progress.
• Support classroom teachers with strategies to generalize communication goals.
• Monitor and maintain augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices and related materials.
• Document interventions and progress according to school and SLP guidelines.
• Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with staff and caregivers.

Minimum Requirements

• Credential as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant as required by Oklahoma state regulations.
• Experience in school-based settings preferred. New graduates are welcome to apply.
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) in a school-based environment.
• Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed SLP and follow individualized education program (IEP) directives.
• Effective communication and documentation skills.
