Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ACU/Stepdown position requiring 2+ years of stepdown experience and Cerner proficiency.

Details

• Work in the Transitional Care Unit of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Float to Med/Surg and Telemetry units as needed
• Uses Cerner EMR system

Requirements

• Active RN license (Standard or AR/Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Minimum 2 years of recent stepdown nursing experience required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care to acute and stepdown patients in a transitional care setting
• Gray scrubs required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
• RTO requests must be less than one week
• Not eligible if previously worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
