Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Amarillo, Texas

Schedule: Day shift, 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30), 36 or 48 hour weekly options available. Nurse-to-patient ratios range from 1:4 to 1:6 depending on patient assignment. Unit census typically 12-14 patients with 24 total beds.

• Epic charting system experience preferred

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Experience with patient ratios of 5-6 patients preferred
• Must be willing to float to med/surg unit as needed for overflow coverage
• Skills required include telemetry monitoring, cardiac drip management, blood product administration, central and peripheral line care, oxygen administration, and wound care
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius from facility location
• Must complete core onboarding items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
