Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Amarillo, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM). Flexible 36 or 48-hour weekly options available. Patient ratios range from 1:4 to 1:6 depending on daily assignments.

Highlights:

• 24-bed unit with daily census of 12-14 patients and comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Flexibility to float to medical-surgical units as needed for overflow support
• Orientation provided with 24-36 hours of onboarding to ensure smooth transition
• One pre-approved time off period available during contract

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact) required at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of recent step down, intermediate care, or telemetry experience
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Experience with patient ratios of 5-6 patients preferred
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius from the area
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, cardiac drip management, central line care, blood product administration, and dysrhythmia interpretation
