• Travel Requirement: Permanent residence must be at least 50 miles from the facility

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent PCU, Step Down, Progressive Care, or similar acute care experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• PALS certification, or ability to obtain within the first 3 weeks of arrival
• Ability to work consistent night shifts in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and attention to detail
• Comfortable providing care in a high-acuity Progressive Care Unit / Step Down setting
• Meets travel nurse eligibility requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to PCU and Step Down patients
• Monitor patient condition, assess changes, and promptly escalate concerns as needed
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with care plans and safety standards
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to support optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation throughout the shift
• Deliver patient and family education with professionalism and compassion
• Support a safe, organized, and efficient clinical environment
• Adapt to patient needs while maintaining excellent quality of care during overnight shifts
