WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking dedicated and experienced registered nurses to join our Medical Step Down Unit in the vibrant city of Atlanta, GA. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing care to a diverse patient population with complex medical needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical Step Down Unit
  • Monitor and assess patients' conditions and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Educate patients and their families on disease management and care plans
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Float to all IMCU units as needed, with common float units being 5J and 12A

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in a similar setting
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
