**Experience Requirements:** - 2 years required experience in Stepdown or ICU department - Previous Charge Experience: Preferred - Cerner experience preferred. **Certifications Required:** - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - BLS (Basic Life Support) - NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) **Certifications Preferred:** - CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) **Skills and Qualifications:** - Experience with patient ratios 1:4 - Charting System Experience: Required with Cerner Powerchart - Clinical skills including Accessing/Managing Ports, Aneurysms and repair, BiPAP/CPAP management, Blood Product Administration, Cardiac Telemetry, Central line care/management, Chest tubes, Continuous Bladder Irrigation, Craniotomy, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), ER Holding, Feeding tube care and management, Heparin Protocols, High Flow Nasal Cannula, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Intracranial bleeds, Isolation Precautions/PPE, IV insulin protocols, Lumbar drains, Manage Cardiac and Vasoactive drips without titration, Management of dysrhythmias, MS/Tele, Nasal Cannula, Neuro Stepdown, Non-invasive airway management, Ortho trauma, Oxygen administration, Pacemakers/Temporary/Permanent, PCA, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Post TPA care, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Pre/Post neurosurgery, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Renal failure, Seizure disorders, Sheath Removal, Spinal cord injury, Starting and maintaining IVs, Substance Withdrawal, Surgical drains, Telemetry, Thrombolytic Agents, Titrate Cardiac and Vasoactive drips, Titration of Insulin drips, Total joint replacement, Tracheostomy care/management, Traction, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Traumatic Brain injury, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Wound Care/Wound Vac. **Additional Requirements:** - COVID-19 Vaccine Required, with Medical/Religious Exemptions Only - Flu Vaccine Required, with Medical/Religious Exemptions Only - Active State License must be pending at submission or willingness to participate in the Aya Licensure Project. - Nursys background review required prior to submission.
