Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN Step Down for a 13-week hospital assignment requiring 2 years of PCU/Med-Surg Telemetry acute care experience and a WI or compact RN license.

Details

• Position located on Med Surg 7E unit within a hospital setting
• Traveler may be placed on a PCU or Med/Surg Telemetry unit based on individual skill set and unit need
• 13-week assignment with a 07:00-19:30 shift schedule
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• Uses Epic EMR
• Floating required within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Current ACLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU/Med-Surg Telemetry acute care experience required
• Must be able to complete RN Step Down (PCU) specialty exam and skills assessment
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

• Provide direct patient care on a PCU or Med/Surg Telemetry unit based on assigned skill set
• Radius rule applies; local candidates may be considered at a reduced rate depending on facility location
