• Schedule: Monday through Friday with weekend rotation and holidays as needed
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130 - $2,250
• Orientation: 24 hours

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience in Neuro Med/Surg or Telemetry within the last 3 years
• Epic charting experience required
• Current BLS certification from AHA required
• Ability to pass a telemetry exam prior to start
• Strong clinical skills in Med/Surg nursing and telemetry nursing
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Ability to float as needed and work a collaborative team-based schedule

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care for medical and surgical neuroscience patients
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Care for post-surgical patients including spine surgery, brain tumor, craniotomy, and ophthalmology cases
• Support patients with neurological conditions such as stroke, multiple sclerosis, ALS, Guillain-Barre syndrome, and spinal cord injuries
• Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and perform routine nursing assessments and interventions
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team including therapists, providers, pharmacy, and rapid response resources
• Educate patients and families while promoting recovery, safety, and evidence-based nursing practice
• Maintain accurate documentation and support unit workflow in a high-acuity healthcare environment
