Description

American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry Stepdown RN with Ohio/compact licensure and at least 1 year of specialty experience to join a med/surg tele unit.

Details

  • Med/Surg Telemetry Stepdown unit
  • Potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population
  • Rotating day/night 3x12 shifts (7:00-19:30 or 19:00-7:30), subject to change to meet hospital operational needs
  • Required to work at least every other holiday

Requirements

  • Active RN license, Ohio or compact, in hand
  • Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
  • Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in the specialty required
  • One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required
  • COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required, with medical/religious exemptions only

Additional Information

  • Provide nursing care to med/surg telemetry patients across multiple units as needed
  • ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation, requiring passing scores
  • Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
  • Permanent or per diem employees must wait 1 year from their previous end date before returning to Cleveland Clinic hospitals
  • Background check hits are reviewed, but open cases or any license hits are not accepted
