Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a Step Down unit requiring 1 year of specialty experience and BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry Step Down unit in a hospital setting
• Potential to float to units J1-2, J33 and the ED to care for the same patient population
• Day/Night rotating 3x12 hour shifts (7:00-19:30 or 19:00-7:30), subject to change based on hospital operational needs

Requirements

• Active RN license (Ohio or Compact)
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• 1 year combined permanent experience in the specialty required
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation with acceptable scores required

Additional Information

• Care for Med/Surg Telemetry patients with potential to float to other units treating the same population
• Every other holiday coverage required
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical/religious exemptions only
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
