Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Step Down Unit in Atlanta, GA. The role requires adherence to hospital protocols and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Required Qualifications:
  • Valid GA or Compact State nursing license
  • 18 months of step down or similar specialty experience within the past 3 years
  • ACLS certification
  • Ability to pass a rhythm identification test (proctored, two attempts; not multiple choice)
  • Must have no vent experience required
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with post-CABG cardiac surgery patients, chest tubes, LVADs, and advanced cardiac care
• Additional Information:
  • Unit operates like an intensive care unit but is designated as an advanced progressive care unit
  • Only Navy Blue scrubs permitted
  • Scrubs must be worn within 50 miles radius; local travelers are not accepted
  • No float rotation required
  • Candidates will be required to complete hospital-specific training courses
