Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Seattle, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30). Every other weekend required. Floating to like units as needed. Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

Highlights:

• Surgical telemetry unit specializing in cardiac care including myocardial infarction, arrhythmias, pre/post open-heart surgery, vascular surgery, and specialized structural heart support (VAD, TAVR)
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 (may be 1:5 at midnight)
• 36-bed unit with daily census of 32 patients, serving adult and geriatric populations
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Advanced cardiac procedures including chest tube management, LVAD care, epicardial pacer management, cardioversion/defibrillation, and dysrhythmia interpretation
• 91-day travel assignment with competitive compensation and support

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact license accepted and must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry experience required
• Surgical telemetry experience with vascular procedures, groin/radial band management, and IV skills required
• Epic charting system experience is mandatory
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Previous travel nursing experience required; unit does not accept first-time travelers
• Experience with post-cardiac catheterization care, open heart surgery patients (24-28 hours post-op), sternal precautions, and cardiac drip management
• Proficiency with blood product administration, chest tubes, telemetry interpretation, and non-invasive airway management
• Must be flexible with floating to like units and scheduling needs
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
