Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse, PCU/IMC/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients transitioning from intensive care to progressive care units.
• Collaborate with critical care intensivists and care teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Manage patient care plans and administer required drips and medications.
• Float to various units within the hospital to meet staffing needs while ensuring patient safety.
• Utilize EPIC charting system for accurate patient documentation.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and safety briefings to enhance patient care.

Qualifications

• Active AHA BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in large, urban hospital settings.
• Experience with vented trauma, surgery, transplant, and critical care patients.
• Proficient in EPIC charting; Experience in a Level I Academic Medical Center preferred.
• Familiarity with managing cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration.
• Preparedness to work holidays and meet facility weekend shift requirements.
