Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Stepdown Intermediate Care position requiring telemetry and Med/Surg experience with a WI or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Stepdown Intermediate Care unit of a hospital setting
• Care for telemetry patients and surgical patients in recovery
• 13-week assignment with 12-hour shifts from 07:00-19:30
• Every 3rd weekend required with EOH (every other holiday) rotation with staff
• May float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed
• Uses EPIC EMR system

Requirements

• Active RN license (WI or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (must be AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• At least 1 year of Med/Surg experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Experience with recovery of surgical patients required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide telemetry and stepdown level nursing care, including recovery care for surgical patients
• Subject to a radius rule that allows local candidates at a reduced rate
• COVID vaccination is not required
