Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Stepdown Intermediate Care/Stroke Unit night shift position requiring 2+ years of experience and a IN or compact RN license.

Details

  • Work in the Stepdown Intermediate Care Unit, a dedicated 30-bed Stroke Unit
  • Care for patients with medical, DKA, cardiac, GI, renal, sepsis, trauma, and surgical conditions
  • 1:4 nurse to patient ratio
  • Night shift schedule from 18:45-07:15
  • 13-week assignment length

Requirements

  • Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
  • Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), both must be AHA-issued
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience required
  • Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
  • Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start of assignment
  • Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address

Additional Information

  • Provide stepdown-level nursing care to a diverse stroke and medical-surgical patient population
  • COVID-19 vaccination is not required
  • Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate that varies by facility location
  • Positions are auto-offer
