Job Description

Join our dynamic nursing team in a 29-bed stepdown/medsurg unit currently under construction, with an expected opening in the first quarter of 2026. This flex unit serves both floor and step-down patients based on the needs of our diverse patient population, primarily handling medical diagnoses. As a registered nurse, you will provide high-quality care to our patients while benefiting from a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient assignment of up to 6 patients on the medical-surgical floor or 3 patients in the step-down area.
• Administer medications, including titrable drips based on written orders.
• Collaborate with charge nurses and house supervisors to ensure seamless patient care.
• Utilize EPIC for charting and patient records.
• Participate in a comprehensive orientation specific to the unit and division.
• Assist with direct patient care and clinical tasks as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN license.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records is a must.
• New and experienced RNs are encouraged to apply.
