Contract: 13 Weeks (Extension Possible)
Shift: Nights | 4x12 (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Schedule: Weekdays with Every Other Weekend

We're seeking an experienced Stepdown (PCU/IMC) Registered Nurse to join a 36-bed Stepdown Unit caring primarily for cardiac patients, including post-cardiac surgery and interventional cardiology cases, along with medical and telemetry patients. The ideal candidate should be comfortable caring for moderate to high-acuity patients and interpreting cardiac rhythms.
36-bed Stepdown Unit
Daily Census: Approximately 34 patients
Typical Patient Ratio:1:4(may flex to 1:5 during emergencies)
Adult & Geriatric patient population
Float required
Weekend coverage: Every other weekend
Active RN License
Minimum 2 years of Stepdown RN experience
At least 1 year of Med/Surg Telemetry experience
BLS & ACLS required
Cerner EMR experience required
Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips
Experience with IV starts, telemetry monitoring, cardiac drips, heparin protocols, BiPAP/CPAP, central lines, PICC lines, and cardiac monitoring
Travel experience not required
13-week assignment with extension potential
Work alongside a multidisciplinary team including IV Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Radiology, and Rapid Response Teams
