Job Title: Travel Stepdown/Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description: Join the nursing team at WVU Medicine JW Ruby Memorial Hospital for a contract position on 7 West. This unit provides care for a diverse Med-Surg and Stepdown patient population in a supportive environment with 24/7 charge and house supervisor support.

Requirements:

• Certifications: Current BLS required.
• Clinical Skills: Proficiency in reading telemetry strips is required. Ability to manage PCAs, Heparin, and standard Med-Surg/Stepdown patient populations.
• Documentation: Epic EMR used.
• Policies: Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius and provide an unexpired copy of their driver's license for submission. COVID-19 vaccination is required (exemptions subject to council approval).

Unit Highlights:

• 32-Bed Unit: 12 Stepdown and 20 Floor beds.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts; requires 2 weekends per schedule and participation in the permanent staff holiday rotation.
