The shift is Monday through Friday, from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Call rotation is required every 4th weekend along with a holiday rotation. Responsibilities include sterile processing and equipment management. This involves cleaning and disinfecting equipment to maintain established par levels. Aseptic technique and proper selection of wrapping materials are essential skills. Experience with the use of various cleaning and sterilization equipment is required. Certified technicians will be responsible for organizing instrument trays and performing sterilization monitoring. Candidates must have prior experience in an acute hospital environment. Additional preferred experience includes knowledge in robotics and specific surgical instruments. This role requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and infection control. Flexibility for floating to different units as needed is expected.
