Description:
Two years of experience is required.
Trauma Level I and II experience is required.
Candidates who are first-time travelers will not be considered.
The contract length is 13 weeks.
The shift consists of 5x8 evening hours from 15:00 to 23:30.
Licenses and certifications required include BLS, CBSPD, IAHCSMM/HSPA.
Experience with steam sterilizers, washer disinfectors, and scope processing is necessary.
Floating within the specialty and other related units may be required.
On-call duties are not required for this position.
Weekend and holiday coverage will be scheduled as required.
Candidates should have knowledge of aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures.
Additional skills needed include monitoring and testing sterilization processes and proper labeling and wrapping of instruments.
Preferred experience includes acute hospital OR and general surgery.
Compliance with all required protocols and procedures is mandatory.
