Travel Sterile Processing Tech - $1,209 per week in Upper Marlboro, MD

Job Title: Surgical Services - Sterile Processing Tech (SPT) Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Sterile Processing Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 Years Required License: CBSPD or IAHCSMM/SPA Required Certifications: BLS Preferred Must-Have: Proficiency/strong skills in cardiac, orthopedic, and neuro tray assembly required Description: SPT II position available for night shifts. Previous experience of 2 years is required. First-time travelers are accepted if they have strong skills in tray assembly for cardiac, orthopedic, and neuro cases. License and certifications required include either CBSPD or IAHCSMM/SPA. BLS certification is preferred. Floating within the specialty is required, including rotating through decontamination. Candidates may also need to float to alternate locations as needed. Every other weekend rotation is required. Holidays are mandatory as scheduled. Must be comfortable with pre-scheduled on-call, but it is not required. Strong skills and proficiency in tray assembly for cardiac, orthopedic, and neuro cases are essential. Candidates need to have experience with Steris V-Pro sterilizers and SPM systems. Tech IIs are required for this position.
