Travel Sterile Processing Tech - $1,226 per week in Charleston, SC

Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Sterile Processing Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 hours (15:00 - 23:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Sterile Processing License: Required as applicable Certifications: CBSPD and/or HSP Must-Have: Level 1 Trauma experience is required. Experience in sterilization, decontamination, assembly, and wrapping for sterile processing is required. Description: The Sterile Processing Technician will work mid-shifts from 15:00 to 23:30, Monday to Friday, with a holiday rotation. No weekend work is required. The clinician may float within their scope to meet facility needs. May be required to float or be permanently switched to alternate campus locations. Experience in neuro, GU, robotics, ENT, orthopedic, transplant, and gynecological cases is preferred. Candidates must possess the necessary certifications in Sterile Processing. BLS certification is not required. All requests for time off must be provided at the time of application submission. The facility reserves the right to call off one shift per two weeks. Travelers should be aware of potential emergency response assignments during hurricane season. All compliance and lab requirements must be completed prior to the proposed start date. Candidates with local proximity will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Previous staff must have been separated from the facility's system for a year before reapplying as travelers.
