Job Title: Sterile Processing Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Sterile Processing Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 8 hours (23:00 - 07:30) Experience: 2 years of experience required, Level 1 Trauma experience required License: Must have a valid state license Certifications: CBSPD and/or HSPA required Must-Have: - Experience in sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrap SPT - Experience with neuro, GU, robotics, ENT, ortho, transplant, and GYN cases Description: The Sterile Processing Tech is responsible for the sterilization and decontamination of surgical instruments and medical equipment. The role requires the assembly and wrapping of surgical trays and sets. Candidates must possess a minimum of two years of experience in sterile processing. Level 1 Trauma experience is necessary for this position. Experience with various types of cases such as neuro, GU, robotics, ENT, orthopedics, and transplant is preferred. National certification through CBSPD or HSPA is required. While a BLS certification is not required, it is an added advantage. Candidates should be prepared to float or be reassigned based on facility needs. RTO must be provided at the time of submission.
