Job Title: Sterile Processing Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Sterile Processing Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years of travel experience in Sterile Processing License: Valid Allied license required Certifications: CBSPD, IAHCSMM/HSPA, HSPA or CBSPDS Must-Have: Experienced travelers only Description: This position requires traveling experience in Sterile Processing. The role involves ensuring the proper sterilization and maintenance of surgical instruments. The work schedule consists of weekdays during the day and occasional weekends. You will be responsible for adhering to aseptic techniques and cleaning protocols. Proper labeling and organization of instruments is essential. You will work with various surgical equipment and collaborate with surgical teams. Familiarity with automated endoscope reprocessors and high-level disinfection processes is required. This position does not require on-call duties or floating between different units. The ideal candidate should be capable of manual cleaning and operating sterilization equipment. Candidates must provide references covering relevant experience in the last three years. This role is crucial in contributing to patient safety and quality care in surgical services. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow established protocols are essential for success in this position.
