Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Sterile Processing Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 8 hours (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Experience: 3+ years in a similar facility License: Required Certifications: CBSPD or CRCST (through HSPA) Must-Have: - Experience in decontamination of all items including drills, scopes, and assembly of instruments across service lines - Familiarity with sterilization processes including Sterrad and steam - High-Level Disinfection (HLD) and scope experience - Experience with sterile storage and OR liaison responsibilities - Censitrac tracking system experience Description: We are seeking candidates who are experienced in all areas of sterile processing. Responsibilities include the decontamination of all surgical items such as drills and scopes. You will be involved in the assembly of instruments in various service lines and ensure the sterilization process is followed correctly. Experience with high-level disinfection and scope processing is required. The role involves sterile storage and liaising with the operating room. Familiarity with the Censitrac tracking system is essential. Candidates must be eligible based on previous employment status within the system. This position requires the ability to float to different locations as needed. Strict adherence to compliance and credentialing processes is necessary for successful onboarding. Reference requirements include two professional references, one from a managerial or leadership position.
