Job Title: Sterile Processing Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Sterile Processing Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 3 years in a similar facility License: Valid state license required Certifications: CBSPD or IAHCSMM Must-Have: Experience in all areas of sterile processing, including decontamination, sterilization processes, and tracking systems. Description: We are seeking experienced candidates in sterile processing. Candidates must have expertise in decontamination of all items, such as drills, scopes, and instrumentation assembly. Knowledge of the sterilization process using Sterrad and steam is required. High-level disinfection experience is preferred. Prior experience with sterile storage and serving as an operating room liaison is essential. Familiarity with Censitrac tracking systems is necessary. Candidates must have experience in a busy trauma facility. This position may require floating to different locations. Availability for occasional scheduled holidays is expected. Working hours are Monday through Friday from 11 PM to 7:30 AM. It is essential to have a strong background in sterile processing techniques. Candidates must provide two professional references, with at least one from a manager or supervisor. No coworker references will be accepted.
