Travel Sterile Processing Tech - $1,336 per week in Saint Louis, MO

Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Sterile Processing Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Midshift Hours per Shift: 8 hours (14:30 - 22:00) Experience: Minimum of 4 years of certified experience required License: Pending State License accepted Certifications: BLS, IAHCSMM/HSPA Must-Have: - Experience in Ophthalmology and ENT instruments - Acute Client OR/Client experience required Description: The Sterile Processing Technician will work on the midshift, Monday through Friday. No weekends or holidays are required. Flexibility to work at a hospital for case volume is needed. The daily average surgical case volume is 20. Preferred candidates will have at least 3 years of certified experience. First-time candidates will not be accepted. Travel experience is required. Candidates must float within the scope to meet facility needs. Experience in Ear/Nose/Throat and Ophthalmology is required. This position requires the ability to work with various surgical instruments and trays. Proper sterilization and wrapping procedures must be followed. The role includes using chemical agents for decontamination and high-level disinfection. Candidates are expected to manage and organize surgical trays effectively. The staff will utilize current hospital charting systems as needed. The position may involve the use of additional special equipment related to surgical processing. All travelers are encouraged to maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
