Travel Sterile Processing Tech - $1,337 per week in Saint Louis, MO

Job Title: Sterile Processing Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Sterile Processing Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (10:30 AM - 7:00 PM) Experience: Minimum 3 years of certified experience License: State license accepted Certifications: IAHCSMM/HSPA, BLS Must-Have: Experience in ophthalmology and ENT instruments is preferred. Acute hospital OR/Ambulatory surgery center experience is required. Description: The Sterile Processing Tech position involves working mid-shift, Monday through Friday, with no weekends or holidays. Candidates must be flexible to work in a hospital setting as needed for case volume. Daily average surgical case volume is approximately 20. The role requires specific expertise in ear/nose/throat and ophthalmology instruments. Aseptic technique and high-level disinfection practices are essential skills for this role. Candidates will be responsible for organizing trays, properly labeling instruments, and maintaining sterilization procedures. Floating within the service line may be required. No on-call or weekend work is necessary for this position. Candidates should have strong knowledge of sterilization and disinfection processes.
