Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Sterile Processing Tech Duration: 6 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years required in sterile processing License: Compact or KY State License required Certifications: HSPA/CRCST certified Must-Have: • Level 1 trauma experience • Proficient in decontamination, assembly, sterilization, case carts, and scope reprocessing • Experience in service lines such as Ortho, Neuro, CT, Trauma, Vascular, Oral, Plastics, ENT, and General surgeries Description: This position requires the ability to work Friday through Sunday from 7 PM to 7 AM. The contract duration is 6 weeks. Local candidates are eligible. Compliance is approved for a quick start. Experience in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma is required. Candidates with 3 years of experience and Level 1 trauma experience may be considered for first-time travel assignments. Proficiency in key sterile processing techniques is essential. No time-off requests will be granted during the first contract. Core compliance exams are required to be completed. No call is required for this position. Candidates must have experience in all but 2 of the specified service lines. Fiber optics experience is also necessary. Previous charge experience is preferred. Candidates should possess excellent customer service skills and attention to detail. Team-oriented individuals are encouraged to apply.
