Job Title: Sterile Processor Supervisor - Certified Profession: Sterile Processor Supervisor Specialty: Sterile Processing Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Experience: Minimum six (6) years of sterile processing experience, or minimum four (4) years of sterile processing experience and an advanced certification in sterile processing, or an Associate’s degree in a related clinical field and four (4) years of sterile processing experience. License: CBSPD or CRCST certification required. Certifications: Advanced certification in sterile processing preferred. Must-Have: Experience in sterile processing. Description: Responsible for supervising all employees on an assigned shift in Sterile Processing. Perform duties associated with cleaning, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instrumentation. Oversee the storage and transport of specific instrumentation, surgical sets, and patient care equipment. Incorporate safety and customer service expectations into daily operations. May provide case picking education and training. Arrange for the transportation of borrowed instruments and equipment across multiple entities. Ensure collaborative communication for all parties involved in the process. Coordinate attendance at educational programs and facilitate staff learning. Ensure consistent and timely use of measurement tools to monitor and report quality and productivity within the department.
