Travel Sterile Processing Tech - $1,499 per week in Bend, OR

Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Sterile Processing Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 5x8 hours (15:00 - 23:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required License: Pending license accepted Certifications: CBSPD and/or HSPA required Must-Have: - Availability to work major holidays - No first-time travelers - Experience with Evotech (ASP) systems - Certification as CBSPD or IAHCSMM - Experience in acute hospital settings Description: The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for cleaning, preparing, and sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in a sterile processing setting. Experience with Steris washers, ultrasonic cleaners, and autoclaves is required. Knowledge of sterilization wrapping procedures and instrument tracking software is essential. Candidates should be familiar with cleaning equipment and practicing high-level disinfection. On-call duties are required as part of the role. Availability to work weekends is mandatory. Candidates must provide professional references from positions held within the past year. References must not be pending. Experience using Epic as a charting system is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform sets/trays assembly and maintain equipment documentation. Experience in various surgical fields such as general, orthopedic, and plastic surgery is beneficial.
