Travel Sterile Processing Tech - $1,499 per week in Bend, OR

Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Sterile Processing Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2 years required License: Pending License Accepted Certifications: HSPA and/or CBSPD required Must-Have: - Must be available to work major holidays - 2 years of experience required - Experience with Evotech systems preferred - Weekend availability required - On-call requirement Description: Candidates must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience. No first-time travelers will be considered. The schedule will be Friday to Monday, 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM. Candidates must have experience charting in Epic. Experience in an acute hospital setting is preferred. Familiarity with specific sterilization equipment such as Steris Washers, ultrasonic cleaners, and autoclaves is required. Knowledge of sterilization wrapping procedures and high-level disinfection is essential. Candidates should have experience with instrument tracking software. Call and weekend coverage are mandatory. References from recent positions are needed, with at least one from a managerial position. Candidates should provide a complete work history for the past 7 years. No employment gaps greater than 30 days are allowed. Candidates with specific credentials like CBSPD, IAHCSMM, or HSPA are preferred. Ability to float within the facility is not required. Local candidates within a 75-mile radius are not accepted.
