Job Title: Surgical Services Sterile Processing Technician Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Sterile Processing Tech Duration: 6 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 5x8-Hour (23:00 - 07:30) Experience: 2+ years in sterile processing required; level 1 trauma experience preferred License: Compact or state license Certifications: HSPA/CRCST certified Must-Have: - Level 2 trauma experience - Experience in decontamination, assembly, sterilization, case carts, and scope reprocessing - Proficiency in service lines including Ortho, Neuro, CT, Trauma, Vascular, Oral, Plastics, ENT, and General surgeries Description: Local travelers are accepted for these positions. This is a Monday to Friday position from 11 PM to 7:30 AM. This role is a six-week contract. Truncated compliance is approved for a quick start. Core compliance exams are required for this role. No time off requests will be granted during the first contract. No on-call requirements for this position. Candidates must have previous experience in sterile processing. Excellent customer service skills are essential. Candidates should be team-oriented with attention to detail and a strong work ethic. This position requires specialized expertise in multiple service lines and proficient handling of various surgical instruments. All candidates must have experience in all but two of the listed service lines.
