Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician Profession: Technician Specialty: Sterile Processing Duration: 10 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 2 years of sterile processing experience License: High school diploma or equivalent required Certifications: Current certification as Sterile Processing Technician required Must-Have: - Able to speak and write English fluently - Demonstrated communication, organization, and critical thinking skills - Registration by the International Association of Central Service & Materials Management required Description: Must live 50 miles away for this assignment. Shift hours are 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Rotating weekends and call may be required. Performs decontamination, sterilization, and processing of equipment and supplies used during invasive and non-invasive procedures. May be assigned to different areas within the department with a variety of duties. Knowledge of sterile processing methods is essential. Strict adherence to established policies and procedures is required.
