Sterile Processing Technician - Day Shift
Location: Greenbrae, California
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Day shift, Monday - Friday, with one weekend per 4-week schedule
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $35-$40 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and case cart management
- Ensure all instruments and equipment are properly cleaned and sterilized
- Work efficiently in a trauma center environment
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure timely instrument availability
- Maintain high standards of infection control and safety
Qualifications
- Active CBSPB or HSPA (formerly IAHCSMM) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience
- Experience in a trauma center preferred
- Willingness to work overtime when needed
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong decontamination, assembly, and sterilization techniques
- Case cart management experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal orientation
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Knowledge of infection control practices
