Job Title: Surgical Services Instrument Technician Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Instrument Tech Duration: 59-Day Assignment Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 7 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in service industry; hospital or healthcare preferred License: State license required Certifications: HS diploma/GED required; AHA certifications accepted Must-Have: - Familiarity with high-level disinfection of endoscopes - Experience with Olympus scopes - Familiarity with Automated Endoscope Reprocessors (AER) - Experience with SPM system tracking Description: This position covers a full-time leave of absence. Flexible shift hours may vary between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Roles include endoscope reprocessing and high-level disinfection. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience in a service environment, preferably in a healthcare setting. Familiarity with endoscope reprocessing and the Medivators AER system is required. Experience with SPM system tracking is also necessary. Candidates without the required experience will not be considered for the role. All candidates must have a high school diploma or GED. AHA certifications are the only accepted certifications for this role. All providers are required to complete their assigned modules before starting. Modules will be assigned automatically once the necessary identification has been generated.
