Position: Sterile Processing Tech (SPT) – Surgical Services $$SN$$
Location: Tracy, California
Shift: Nights – 5x8s (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
Duration: 13 weeks
Job Duties
• Perform sterile processing duties to support the hospital Sterile Processing Department.
• Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments and medical equipment.
• Prepare and maintain sterile instrument trays and supplies for surgical procedures.
• Follow infection prevention standards and proper sterilization protocols.
• Ensure instruments are cleaned, tested, and available for patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital sterile processing standards.
• Collaborate with surgical and perioperative teams to support efficient operating room workflow.
