Travel Superintendent - Multifamily - Carolinas

We are seeking an experienced Lead Multifamily Superintendent to oversee ground-up wood-framed apartment developments throughout the Carolinas, beginning with a major project in Eastern North Carolina. This role offers the opportunity to lead projects from sitework through completion while playing a key role in the growth of an expanding regional construction operation.

Description

• • Lead all field operations for ground-up multifamily apartment projects from sitework through project completion.
  • Direct subcontractors, site teams, and construction activities to ensure schedule, quality, and safety objectives are met.
  • Manage projects ranging from approximately $40M to $80M in construction value.
  • Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Assistant Superintendents, and corporate leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee project scheduling, sequencing, site logistics, inspections, and daily field execution.
  • Maintain a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Mentor and develop Assistant Superintendents assigned to the project team.
  • Transition to new project starts as additional developments commence throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia.
  • Collaborate with leadership to support the continued growth of the Carolinas construction platform.

Profile

Must-Have Qualifications

• Proven experience leading ground-up, wood-framed multifamily construction projects.
• Experience managing apartment developments in the $40M to $80M range.
• Track record of successfully delivering projects from early sitework through completion.
• Ability and willingness to travel throughout North Carolina and South Carolina as project needs require.
• Strong leadership, communication, scheduling, and subcontractor management skills.
• Stable employment history with demonstrated tenure and project commitment.

Preferred Experience

• Three or more years with a current or previous employer.
• Experience working on Class A multifamily communities with amenity-rich environments.
• Experience leading projects across multiple Southeastern markets.
• Background working for multifamily-focused general contractors or developer-builder
