Job Description
Lead all on-site construction activities from preconstruction through project closeout. Manage project schedules, subcontractors, safety programs, and quality control initiatives. Coordinate daily field operations to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal project teams. Oversee commercial construction projects ranging from approximately $5M to $25M in value. Travel throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, and Southern Virginia to support project execution. Maintain a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to project challenges and field coordination. Ensure compliance with all company safety and operational standards.

The Successful Applicant
Must-Have Qualifications: 5+ years of experience serving as a Lead Superintendent on commercial construction projects. Proven experience with ground-up commercial construction. Experience delivering large retail, grocery, industrial, or big-box projects. Ability and willingness to travel Monday through Friday throughout the Southeast region. Strong leadership, communication, and subcontractor management skills. Demonstrated ability to manage project schedules, site safety, and field operations.
Preferred Experience: Experience working on grocery store or large retail construction projects. Background managing renovations and occupied-space construction. Stable work history demonstrating strong tenure with previous employers. Experience overseeing projects for nationally recognized retail or grocery clients.
