Travel Surg Tech - CST/OR

Position: *CHS Travel: Certified Surgical Technician (CST)/ (OR) (12:30p-11p)

Position Information:

Working in the OR, assisting surgeons by preparing the surgical field, passing instruments and supplies during surgery, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring the smooth flow or procedures, will be assisting and passing in cases, assisting in turning over OR rooms etc to keep the surgical cases flowing

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 4-10 hour shifts, Mids 12:30p - 11p

Call requirements: 1 call shift during the week, typically either 11p-7a if evenings or 5p-7a if days, also one weekend every 8-9 weeks 7a-7p or 7p-7a

GH: 72 bi-weekly

Max amount of RTO: 1 week

Certifications/experience required : 

- CST Certification required, must be from NBSTA National Board of Surgical Technology

- BLS

- Years of experience required: 2 years

- Number of beds in unit: 16 ORs

- Must have recent experience in spinal and cranial neuro surgery, da Vinci robotics experiences, and ortho trauma experience

- Dept scrub color: hospital issued scrubs

- EMR: Cerner
