**Exciting Opportunity for HI - RN Surgical Acute - Nights!** **Job Description:** - **Join a Dynamic Team!** Be part of a 34-bed adult surgical unit with a focus on excellence in patient care. - **Essential Duties:** - Perform standard RPN III duties and skills. - Utilize your expertise in surgical pre/postoperative care. - **Types of Procedures:** - Engage in various abdominal surgeries, including laparoscopic cholecystectomies, appendectomies, mastectomies, thyroidectomies, and more. - Manage chest tubes and drains with confidence. - **Equipment Utilized:** - Vital signs machines - IV & PCA pumps - WOWS/EMR charting - Pyxis - **Experience Requirements:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered nurse, with a strong background in pre/postoperative nursing. - Proficiency in standard RPN III skills. - **Licensures and Certifications:** - Required: BLS and ACLS certifications. - **Schedule Expectations:** - Enjoy three 12-hour shifts per week! - Must be willing to float to other units as needed. - Flexibility is key with shifts on weekends and holiday coverage. - **Patient Care Ratio:** - Experience a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1 RN to 5-6 patients. - **Dress Code:** - Dress in regular nursing uniforms, maintaining a professional appearance. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
