Job Title: Travel Telemetry / Trauma Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Job Description: Join the premier nursing team at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ! We are seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment on Unit T8 (Trauma, Ortho, Surgical). In this 30-bed specialized unit, you will care for high-acuity patients including post-op day 1 transplants, whipples, complex spine and ortho surgeries, and trauma cases.

Contract Details:

  • Target Start Date: 08/31/2026
  • Shift: 3x12-hour Nights.
  • Commitment: 3 weekend shifts per 4-week period and participation in the holiday rotation.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent Telemetry nursing experience, with Level 1 Trauma background strictly required.
  • Systems: Proficiency in Cerner EMR.
  • Certifications: Active BLS and ACLS required at submission.
  • Pre-Offer Testing: Must pass a facility dysrhythmia exam prior to formal acceptance (2 attempts allowed).
  • Radius Policy: Must reside strictly outside a 50-mile radius (Driver's License required at submission for verification).

Important Facility & Compliance Notes:

  • SIMs Lab (Pass/Fail): Orientation includes a strict, pass/fail competency check on sterile field maintenance for Foley insertions and central line dressing changes.
  • Appearance Standards: Natural hair color and no facial piercings are permitted. Male nurses must be clean-shaven for respirator fit-testing.
  • Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs.
