TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel Surgical First Assistant for a travel job in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Unit: CVOR/Surgical Assistant
Experience Required: 2 years experience; no first time travelers
Certs Required: Surgical Assist: BLS, Graduation from accredited school (required); CSFA (preferred)
Skills Required: Strong CVOR background is needed across all specialties – ability to work independently with minimal guidance in the following cases: CABG, TAVR, Valve replacements, Thoracic cases are robotic (lobectomy, hernia repair), Generator exchanges, Lead extractions, Heart transplants, Fem-Pop Bypass. Experience in fast paced environment.

Patient Types: Cardio and Thoracic surgeries – CABG, TAVR, Valve replacements, Thoracic cases are robotic (lobectomy, hernia repair), Generator exchanges, Lead extractions, Heart transplants, Fem-pop bypass. Surgical team will always have (2) RN's per case – Circulator and Med RN – travelers will only circulate
